It is raw Zucchini for the pasta, then I made raw pesto and raw marinara sauce. They could be eaten separately, but Jerry mixed both sauces & LOVED it!
Jerry taking a bite:
After a bite:
Jerry says it is the BEST pasta he ever had! & I got a few thank you smooches too! Woo Hoo!! Hey, I'm liking this new Raw Food stuff! he he he

I made my sourdough bread this morning. After the smoke alarm went off TWICE at 6:30 AM, what a wake-up call, huh!? LOL The oven was a *little* dirty :) & I had to pre-heat it at 460 to make the bread, which made LOTS of smoke and set off the smoke alarm! But I got all the gunk out and everything worked out, no fire trucks had to show up! LOL The bread looks good, and smells good. I didn't get a chance to get pictures, but even if I did I couldn't link them here right now because Photobucket (and almost everything else) is blocked on the school network. :( Maybe I'll get a picture when we get home if Chris doesn't devour it while we are gone! ::Big eyes:: <--smiley central won't work, & I have to make it fun! LOL I also have dinner already done, I have vegetarian chili in the slow cooker! Yummy!!
Hopefully I can get caught up on the rest of my blog reading today!! Then I will be finishing up making my Chronological Bible Reading Chart because February 1st is coming quickly!! Oh, and I decided on 3 months, not 4. That is still relaxed reading for me, yet not drawn out :) I also have to finish making my 2010 booking calendar for A1Fun. Gotta be prepared well in advance for bookings! Hope to accomplish that all before we leave for the day at 4.
Have a Blessed day in the Lord Jesus!!

Your MOST Welcome! :)
Thank you for your other comments, I agree with you about how wonderful it is to have like-minded friends whether their local or online. My place is at the church and I’m learning a lot even through the trials and hardships. Besides I believe God is using me, since I am different & strong in my convictions to be a witness for Him. Isn’t that what we all want anyway?
So my new blogging buddy, enjoy your reward and thanks for the kudos! (((hugs)))

Nope, we usually use Sunset Cottages. A very friendly cabin rental. Beautiful cabins & close to Dollywood. We will have to check that other place out as well. :)
I’m so looking forward to our next vacation! LOL

You are such a blessing to me.
I was astounded to read your post introducing me~
I have always thought of you as a good and dear friend.
I feel just like you that we will meet when the Lord desires that to happen either here on Earth or in heaven!
I think we should do another video of ourselves again!
Thank you Shannon for the uplifted words and encouragement.
It means more than you know..
you really liked the Preserve huh!?

I do remember the video!!! It’s on my shelf in the office. :) I need to convert it to a dvd so I can watch it on my computer. :) I would LOVE to do another video!!! :D
Yes, we really liked the Preserve! We talk about it all the time. The mountain views are BREATHTAKING from way up there! I don’t know how Mark found it to take you there, but I am so glad he did and you got to enjoy it and share it with us on the group & Jerry got to take me!! :) Woo Hoo!! We are planning on going back this summer & I can’t wait!
Here it is:
Here is the recipe:
For the Crust:
Put in the food processor:
1.5 Cups unsweetened shredded dried coconut
1.5 Cups raw walnuts (or you can try raw macadamia nuts), unsoaked
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
** Process until coarsely ground.
Then Add 1/2 Cup pitted Dates, unsoaked
** Process until mixture begins to stick together. You may have to stop and scrape the sides a few times.
Spread the mixture in a 9" pie pan, making sure it is evenly distributed, press firmly to the sides and on the bottom. You can get fancy and make it fluted like a "real" pie crust if you like. :)
For the Chocolate Mousse filling:
Put in the food Processor:
1/2 Cup Pitted Dates, soaked
1/2 Cup Agave Nectar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
** Process until smooth.
1.5 Cups mashed avocados (3 avacados)
3/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa or Carob Powder
** Process until creamy
1/2 Cup Filtered water
** Process briefly
Spread chocolate mixture in the pie crust.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 Hour
** ENJOY **
This is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! Jerry is grinning ear to ear and saying "Thank You"!!
I substituted raisins because I didn't have any dates, we ran out!!! But it was SOOOOOOOOOO YUMMY!! I can't wait to try it with dates!!! OH !!! And I don't even like coconut, but wanted to try it anyway, and LOVE it!!! I'm trying to stay open minded on this raw food thing, because I am a very picky eater.
I think it would be even better with some raw whip cream!! I tried to find a recipe I thought we had, but could not find it. But it was DELISH anyway!!! LOL

Posted by: Shannon L. Fowler on: January 23, 2009
It’s actually called Not Tuna Pate & it is YUMMY!!!!!
Put in food processor:
2 Cups soaked raw sunflower seeds
1 Cup soaked raw almonds
(soak about 8 hours usually overnight is good)
1/2 Cup Filtered Water
1/4 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
process till it is a paste. You will have to periodically scrape it off the sides.
Place into a mixing bowl and add:
1/3 Cup Minced Celery
1/4 Cup Minced Onion
1/4 Cup Minced Fresh Parsley
3/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Mix well & ENJOY!!!
Goes well as a dip for veggies or crackers, or as a spread for an open face sandwich!!
Should keep for 4-5 days in a sealed container in the fridge.

Starting outside at the front of the house:
This picture was taken this summer on a nice sunny day!
This could take a while, so grab a cup of coffee or tea and come on inside!
Here you are standing right at the front door, in the foyer:
You can see the living room straight ahead.
Ok, weird placement for the Armoire, but we are selling it, and I wanted the rest of the living room as if it weren't there! :) ... You can see the small coat closet on the left and barely the door to the big closet on the right, we store our balloons, face painting & show stuff for our Entertainment Business there.
Directly to the right when you come in the front door is our Office:
A little crowded, but we like it! We have a LOT of equipment for our Ministry in there.
Turn around, because directly left from the front door is the Dining Room:
You can see the Foyer to the left. The kitchen is behind here.
Between the Office and the Living Room is the Powder Room (or 1/2 bath):
Beautifully painted by my sister, Lori. :)
On to the kitchen next:
View from the Living Room:
The sink & dishwasher area:
All the way to the right, you can see the tiny pantry door.
Our new Kitchen Island:
A couple days ago I just decided to look on Craigs List and see what they had, and they had this beauty!! It is PERFECT for our kitchen!!
Another angle of the Kitchen from the Living Room, "featuring" our small Kitchen Island:
You can see our sprouter and our juicer on it. This small one used to be where the bigger island is, but we needed more counter space. :)
Closer shot so you can see the Garage entrance (left) and the Laundry Closet (right):
You can see my "nifty invention" of a clothing rack up there! LOL It's just a wooden pole cut to fit above the door frames to hold stuff I hang up right out of the dryer. Thanks to ddCathy for that idea!!
Inside the Laundry Closet:
I re-did my laundry area this summer when my WONDERFUL Hubby bought me this AWESOME stacking Washer and dryer set! Here's the link to the before & after pics: Laundry ReDo
Turn around & head to the Living Room:
You can see our cool lap desks that our daughter Cathy & her hubby got us for CHRISTmas. We use them every day! Thanks Cat! You can see all my various office stuff surrounding my chair. LOL And my PURPLE water bottle with lemon water. :)
Another view of the LR:
You can see various Grandkids toys & stuff! he he Notice the fireplace is boarded up to keep out the grandbabies! LOL There's little stones in there that they just can't resist putting in their mouth, so we board it up and it's easy to unscrew 4 screws & take it off to turn on the gas logs for a cozy fire. :)
Through the Living Room to the Stairs:
You can see that I have NOT painted the walls on the steps & hallway upstairs yet. :)
1/2 turn then go up the rest of the steps & see our son Chris' Bedroom door:
This as close as you'll get to his room, BELIEVE me, you appreciate NOT seeing (or rather SMELLING) in there!! LOL
Top of the Stairs & to the left is the landing where we throw stuff when we are too lazy to carry it down the steps! LOL
To the hard left of the stairs is our weight room which used to be our daughter Cathy's room:
One more view of the weight room:
Hard Right at the top of the stairs is Our son Chris' Bathroom:
Um, I'm not sure why I put this here, it's BAD dirty, I don't ever venture in there. I make HIM clean it when we are having any overnight company! So only a quick shot! :)
Next to (cornerwise) that is Jerry & My bedroom, here is what you see at the doorway:
Walk in the door and see our dresser on the left:
Our Bed is to the right:
Our big window in our room:
We have lived here 10 1/2 years an still no window treatments! We tried this summer, but every store was out of the ones we wanted. Oh well!!
To the left of our door is our Master Bath:
All the way in the back is our walk-in closet and our little "throne room"! LOL
Garden Tub & Shower Stall (or cubicle as I call it!):
My husband picked out the fishie decals, we changed to palm trees theme, but didn't take off the decals, I am supposed to put a mural of a beachy scene above my bathtub. We have the mural, I haven't put it up yet. :
Double sink vanity:
Come out of our room and turn right to see the Game Room:
You can see the door to the small linen closet on the left in this pic. And you can see the string hanging down that pulls down the attic stairs/ladder. :)
At the door to the Game Room:
You can see the door to the closet on the left, it's a big closet. OOps! The other green chair is in the dining room!
Inside the Game Room, to the left is the "cubby" created by the dormer window, this is where the rest of the grandbaby toys are:
Nice & Organized in that playpen, huh? ;) This used to be my sewing room when we had our office up here. Now it's all in bins in my bedroom closet (which is why you only get to see the door! LOL)
Pool table & Foos Ball Table:
Pool table stays, the Foos Ball can move so it's out of the way of the pool table, but when we want to play foos ball, we can move it away from the wall & go crazy! LOL
View walking out of the Game Room to the hallway. Chris' bathroom is straight, our room is left, at the end:
Hope you enjoyed the little tour of our home!
Here are a couple other tours that inspired me:
Candy's Home Tour:
Jessica's Home Tour:
A different house, same Jessica:
